Weird strong vibrations
Hi, i have a 2022 cx 30 turbo 20k km (12k miles). With the current weather getting colder here in Canada, a new strong vibration started happening around 0 degree celcius (32 fahrenheit). I can both hear and feel it. It seems to be coming from somewhere under the steering wheel, it disappears when the temperature increases back of a couple degrees. Asked the dealership about it, they could not hear it. They checked suspension and direction, everything was OK... any idea as of what could be causing this? Attached a sound sample. Any help in this would be much appreciated. Thanks.
hi, if you mean you cant open the file, i just tried on my phone and it seems to be working, but when opening the file. Not the download inside of chrome...
I'm sorry, I might have misunderstood your question. If you're seeing a .at file extension, I don't understand. It's an mp3 and i just confirmed it by redownloading it...
Please help me here, what is the problem and what am I supposed to do?
Sound discription always are subject to owners best idea where they think the noise and even vibration originated from. In your case I would at least gone for abase test drive and if the sound and or vibration was not detected had you leave the vehicle for me to test drive first thing in the morning.
Mazda should have IMHO at least offered that to you.
The good thing with you going to the dealer service department is that it is on record now on your VIN. Because your Mazda is still under warranty should some happen you should be covered for the service corrections.
May one of the regular members that use your type video can upload it and change it to a different service like YouTube . Then I could listen to it?
If I had to GUESS I mean off the cuff, your engine has not warmed up to normal operating temperature and the CAT may have reached OT to soon in relation to the engine. This could be verified by watching the CAT and engine coolant reporting in the ECU. You would also be able to tell if during the event you are either in open or closed loop HO2 operations.
I can only.y do the best advise and suggestions pertaining to Diagnostics when I get some starting point.

* The noise sound like you are traveling over a rough bumpy road. *That sound almost sound like a loose heat shield? No thoughts on the vibration from the video.
But as I said most of these are generally not very helpful. Recorded sound is different from real world test drive and listening.
Going back to your discription in the first response my #8 response seems more reasonable and could include this *guess as well
