I hope mazda reads this, I love the car, but I will never ever buy a Mazda CX 30 again just because of the obnoxious , disgusting, disturbing, ridiculous, chime at the start up. I hate it so much I can’t wait to get rid of it. Mazda, maybe a software upgrade that will change that sound? How could anyone who studies ergonomics , introduce a horrible sound like that. What a shame.

I understand there are things even on My Mazda I don't like but after all I did choose the year and the model and new all these things before I purchased it.

Really, tho,,,when u think of it, why have any chime or sound at all.? Just start up like every car in the past did before some dim wit engineer thought we should all hear binging and bonging so we knew we were starting the vehicle. Jeeez.

 

I understand, I guess I am use to it as a pilot. And I actually installed a warning buzzer adjusted to sounds off if my battery voltage drops below 11.3 volt. and another when I activate the Nitrous so I remember after blowing someone's doors off to shut the system and the valve off. Not kidding!
