Default Loud seatbelt alert tones on startup

on the 2020 CX-30 USA and Canada models there will be a loud alert tone 6 times when you start the ignition and don’t have your seat belt fastened.

I’ve never had a car do this... is there a way to suppress and make it ONLY alert if you pull it into gear (without seatbelt) or start driving (without seatbelt) ??

I always always always start the ignition when I sit down. Might be because I’m in colder climate and first thing I want to do is start the heat. But hey - in summer I want to start the AC.

So now every time I get into my beautiful new vehicle I have to listen to 6 loud warning bells. Does anyone actually get in, buckle up, and THEN start the car? I always buckle, no issue with safety there. Just the annoying HOW DARE YOU START THE CAR?! warning alarms that go off if you haven’t buckled yet.

Again ... please re read this carefully if you don’t know what I’m referring to. I’ve always had warning alerts in cars if you’re not wearing belt. I’ve never had one do that on startup and in park.
