We just got the 2022 CX30 (also have a 2018 CX9). Took the keyfob to a fairly crowded place and I later noticed that the back plate and the emergency key simply fell out and I could find it.
I ordered the emergency key and will have it cut at a local hardware store.
The missing backplate is another story. Can't find it anywhere. Would love some suggestions. Will the dealer sell just the backplate?

The older keyfob appears much more sturdy (and it is more compact).
