Key fob problem

OK, so while I do not have a physical key inside my fob, I also do not have a place to insert a physical key should something go sideways.

How does one open the door with say, a dead battery in the car or fob?

You have 2 KeyFOB's, correct? and not emergency key in both? In that case you need to go to the dealership and sort this out.
And to answer your second question, pull the driver door handle and it will reveal the keyhole.

Mazda should have the key profile number on their data base.
