Default How to permanently disable i-Stop

Hi everybody,

Apologies if this question has been asked before (I could not find it myself).

Is there a way to permanently disable the i-Stop? Unfortunately, it does not work for me at all so I would prefer to permanently disable it.

Cheers,
Ernest

Isn't i-Stop a wonderful system? . I thought Mazda would never get this crap in North America and boom "New for CX-5 2024 is the inclusion of i-Stop technology" it's already in the CX-90 and soon in all models, bummer.
Here check Amazon Japan: i-Stop canceller Don't really know how difficult is to install, instructions seem to be in Japanese, contact vendor, EnlargeCorp
Check also Aliexpress I've seen dongles that plugs in the OBD port. I cannot vouch but some people insert a toothpick in i-stop switch and they claim it works disabling the system.

OMG...
I recommend that if you are in the future going to advise members that you first try out such procedures and learn how things work first rather than let others be your Ginia pig for experimenting?

I highly recommend NOT to use either of these recommendations......especially anything inserting like a toothpick in any electronic on any ECU controlled system or vehicle manufactured from about 2000 to present.
