Having brought our 2021 CX-30 to Germany with us, I had to do the reverse - switching the display from miles to kilometers. It's pretty easy. Just go to "Vehicle Settings" on the little dial-a-menu thing. Once you get in there, it takes some fiddling around to find it, but it will ask you for km or miles. You can go back and forth whenever you want. It changes the speedometer, odometer and even switches miles per gallon to liters per 100 kilometers (to measure fuel economy).
That's kind of a cool feature - so that I don't have to do calculations in my head from mph to kph to avoid getting speeding tickets.
