CX-30 Vibration Issue

Nancy, are you feeling the vibration at the front or rear of the car, and is the vibration more pronounced on the left or right? I ask because it’s dawned on me that there’s two other possibilities - a dying shock absorber or a very slightly warped wheel. Neither of these things would necessarily show up when individual wheels are being balanced (the on-road harmonics can’t be replicated effectively in a static setting). Also, and this is probably a dumb question, but have you had an alignment check done on the front AND rear? In any event, it’s probably time to abandon seeking a resolution from the stealer, and get the car to a specialist, like RS Auto Clinic, Can-Alignment or Tirecraft
I feel it in the seat mostly. Not in the steering wheel.
The demo car at the dealership also had the same problem. Didn't really notice it when I test drove it.

If they say it is characteristic of the car, then they admit your car has vibration. Good thing. Ask to test drive another car. If it has no vibration; ask them to switch all four tires to your car. If your car now has no vibration, you know its the tires. Then have them put your tires on the test drive car and see if the vibration follows the tires, this will confirm the answer. And since they probably will not agree, do you know anybody with wheels that will fit your car to run the same kind of test?

Even the demo had the same problem.
I drove one without the AWD a week ago and it didn't have the same problem.
Still rough ride but not like mine.
Next step is they're going to keep it for a few days.
Dealer is trying to work it out.
Relative drove it and thinks either unbalanced drive shaft, cv axle or joint problem. Something in the rear.
Waiting for a call to go back in to Dealer.

The dealership finally put new Michelin tires on it.
Ended up selling the car. The constant alerts in the car were annoying me also. Risk of low battery beeping every time you run the radio when the car was off or leaving it unlocked.
I went back to a Hyundai. Much smarter vehicle and very happy now.

If you bought the Grand Touring model, you have Cylinder deactivation and that's where your vibration is coming from. Mazda doesn't advertise the CD any longer, but includes it on the Grand Touring models only. I've been told the 2022 models no longer have it.
I hate it on mine. I've a lease that expires in July 2022. If my model didn't have CD, I'd buy it at the end of the lease, but I can't stand that vibration, so will turn it in. It was a terrible idea from Mazda. The miniscule mileage gain isn't worth it.

Pay Attention! If you have an hybrid version, when you are going to the minimum of power, keeping only the constant speed, the car switch off 2 cylinders. This generates a soft natural vibration. As soon an you press on the accelerator it goes away.

Vibration after 3 months
vibrations not in th me steering wheel, but “in the seat” next week the car will be returned to the dealer. I hope they can fix it. If anybody already had the solution, I would be grateful to hear, and might help the dealer as well.

I'm having vibration issues with my brand new Mazda 6 when it hits 80kmph. I was told today there is a known issue with the Cylinder Deactivation System, which kicks in around 80kmph. Maybe your issue is also caused by this?
