Default CX-30 Vibration Issue

I bought a 2021 CX-30 in Dec 2020.
Right from the start there has been a vibration any where over 70kph or up. Smooth roads.
My seats vibrate.
Took issue up with dealer.
Two weeks ago they checked tires for balance. Today they did a road forced balance. Still no change.
They keep saying it is a characteristic of the car.
Very annoying. Feels like I'm driving a pickup with an empty box.

I've had my 2001 CX-30 since September 2020. I do not experience this issue.

May I ask what tires you have on yours?
Make and size.

They keep saying it’s a characteristic is the car?! The only “characteristic” here is the BS being spouted by service people too lazy to figure what the problem is! No, Nancy, what you report is NOT a “characteristic” of the car. Time to escalate this to Mazda Canada, and absolutely time to find another dealer, one that won’t patronisingly pet you on the head and toss BS at you!

Nancy R: what type of tires are you using. On my previous vehicle (KIA Sorento) I had All-Weather tires (better in winter than All-Season). The ride was quite rough with some vibration. Perhaps you have rough-running tires on your car. Perhaps Winter or All-Weather????

I have no issues with vibrations, smooth all the way to 100MPH.

I travel to work on the interstate at 70 MPH all the time and never had any vibrations.

I would think it was tires but could be in the transmission/CV connections.

Crazy hard to pin point, thus the dealers explanation, common to the car.

They do not want to use the time to find and correct the problem.

It has been since Dec 2020. Winter and all season.
Tires balanced and then road force balanced.

Not sure if I answered you yet.
I have the same vibration with both sets of tires. tires.ot just rough. Definite vibration around 75kph and up. Doesn't matter if the road surface is smooth.
I've had a dozen cars in my life and it feels just like an unbalanced tire but that was checked twice.
I'm wondering about cv axles not installed correctly or defective. My husband used to put them on at GM. Says they are tricky to seat properly sometimes.
Dealer not acknowledging that.

Nancy, are you feeling the vibration at the front or rear of the car, and is the vibration more pronounced on the left or right? I ask because it’s dawned on me that there’s two other possibilities - a dying shock absorber or a very slightly warped wheel. Neither of these things would necessarily show up when individual wheels are being balanced (the on-road harmonics can’t be replicated effectively in a static setting). Also, and this is probably a dumb question, but have you had an alignment check done on the front AND rear? In any event, it’s probably time to abandon seeking a resolution from the stealer, and get the car to a specialist, like RS Auto Clinic, Can-Alignment or Tirecraft
