Default CX-30 Nav

On our way home from the finger lakes in New York to N.E. PA the navigation put us on a five mile stretch of unpaved road. We checked our setting and do not have the box checked to use unpaved roads. This is not the first time that I have questioned the NAV unit in our 2021 CX-30 Anyone else have problems?
thanks, Gary

NAV systems are not absolutely correct. They are only as good as the info provided by the mapping company. Be vigilant when in unfamiliar areas.

I use the Mazda system for local trips and detours. For longer trips I use Waze. Waze and the other phone based systems are far more reliable. They are updated continuously. Mazda can’t compete. I doubt there will be any manufacturer specific GPS systems in a few years.

Agreed, I find myself using Google maps all the time now, especially with the real-time traffic data it is priceless.
