Default Sat Nav problem

My sat nav is giving me wrong information. Today it sent me down a one way street, into someones house, down a road that closed three years ago, the wrong way at two roundabouts and miles out of my way home. I have checked the settings and tried the toolkit update (it says there are no updates available).

Well Albert, if you have gone down a one way street, gone into someone's drive missed two junctions on roundabouts you are talking the nav direction too literally and not reading the road and road signs.
sorry but it needed saying.

I had one in my 2000 Volvo and quickly discovered that since it wasn't directly connected to the internet it couldn't possibly compete with a stand alone unit.. I've been a loyal TomTom user
ever since!
