Default 12V Drill through firewall

I want to install a 12V sock in the passenger compartment of my 2024 CX30 "Sport". Mazda decided to not include a socket in the driver
arm rest as I had n my 2020. I can run a wire directly from the battery through the firewall.
Would drill a hole through firewall in foot well on passenger side. Suggestions where I can get a clean
shot without hitting something important
I do not know any other way to get 12V. I would install an aftermarket 12v socket.

You should be the ONLY ONE to find the place to drill into the firewall. The only advise anyone should give is to first see if there are unused perforation in the firewall or insulation where the factory might have had on some firewall plan to install something. Other wise do your own search and finding of what will work best for the tools you have for the location best suited for the projects hole
