What is this sound?
This has been going on for about a week now and its driving me crazy. Its only happening when I'm coasting at about 10km/hr at most, when I speed up the sound goes away. Its like a rubbing noise but I'm unsure of what it is. Its coming from somewhere underneath the front end which is where I can hear it. I literally just got this 2021 cx-3 about 2 weeks ago from the dealership and this sound has me stressed out. Hopefully its not anything bad. I've attached a mp3 sound file for you to listen. I appreciate all the help and I hope we can figure this out.
Thanks.
Kyle

Recorded sounds are not very good for diagnosing and locating a problem. The location of any sound can be very eluding or misleading where some think the sound is coming from. My suggestion is taking your Mazda to a service shop have them test drive with you and possibly place your Mazda up on the lift and inspect your running gear and suspension.
But be prepared for member game guessing as to it origin and cause.

I tried to listen , but could not get anything definite yet it sounds like the tire or soft components rubbing against each other - I would take it back to the dealer -- theres a window sticker on pre-owned units which will outline the remining original warranty / and or CPO certified pre-owned warranty which some dealers offer at extra cost . Others will offer a 90 warranty period for issues just like this / some 30 days . I would find the documents and get it back to the dealer asap for a check up == Mazda adopted a CPO program about a decade ago with a 161 ( or so ) point inspection . I would also ask if the carfax shows an accident -- then if so , you can find where the repairs were done , thus helping you locate the issue .
