Starting in extreme cold
I have a 2019 CX-3. Recently we have had extremely cold temperatures -35°F. When I go outside to start the car, I notice the interior lights do not come on. I push the brake pedal and the start button light flashes for about 10-15 seconds, then the light stays lit and the instrument panel lights up and im able to start the car.
Is this a sign that my battery is losing its charge? Or is this a built in feature that warms the battery before starting the car?
