i-stop clunk noise when moving off?

i-stop clunk noise when moving off?
Hi all,
We have just purchased a 2018 Automatic CX-3 Petrol 2WD.
I am enjoying the handling and surprisingly nippy performance very much.
However, one thing that concerns me is a thump/clunk noise that I hear...
I brake at a traffic light or junction - the iStop engages and the engine goes off
When ready to move off, I release the footbrake.
The engine comes back on and around the same time as I move off, I can hear this clunk or thump.
Is this normal?
Our current/previous car is a Merc B180 which also has a similar stop/start feature and I don't hear any similar noise under the same circumstances.

Don't know - I only just purchased it - was serviced by Mazda's main dealer before purchase.
The sound is not too bad now - probably just due to the car being in storage for a while...
