OK. SO i gota mazda b2600i and its a 92. I want a new motor/// motor swap and i basically want it to be faster than the stock motor and want it to sound mean, or just meaner.


SO i need help on what motor i can / should get. and what motors could fit.

awhile ago a company out of canada was sellling motor mounts for 5.0 ford. get more descriptive. i.e. how much money are you willing to spend??? that is the only question that needs to be answered

 

if you have some fabrication skills here we go last year i successfully put a chevrolet 350 cid engine tranny and rearend in my 87 b2000. it was well worth it and it was not that hard to do i have all my parts lists and everything from the swap in record. i will have to post some pics for you. the most i had to do was hammer the firewall a little bit and i had enough clearance. anymore questions i will be here. it has alot of power and it wasnt that shaky.

you can find cheap 350 engines i got mine out of a van for $100 cause the tranny was toast. rearend got out of a 75 olds 98 $25. radiator $150. driveshaft about $100 from junk yard just rebuild it. hoses belts dirt cheap. if the engine needs rebuilt can get kits for $300. tranny couple hundred. you just have to know what to get and where to get it.

 

13b rotary the only way to go. atkinsrotary.com sells the kit .so go forth and put the ZooM-ZooM back in your life. just my 2 cents.

 

ZOOM-ZOOM 13B OR 20B?

 

YES! A 13B turbo motor would be the ideal swap for a B2600. Its a fairly easy swap too....I just wish I could find a good clean B2600, I'd be all over coverting a 13B turbo into it!

 

get a toyota 2jz engine you will need to make some modifications to the engine mounts and driveline but it will be worth the effort. trust me
