tonneau covers + box liners
I was just wondering where and what you recomend i should use to protect my box or cover it up whether it be a coover or a box liner. Any ideas where i could pick something up cheap or anythign else?
i have a "tonneau master" cover. it was $350 new. look inyellow pages for a truck shop. alot of them have used covers as well if you want to go cheap. it can be hit or miss to find the correct size for your truck. you can also find bed liners that way too. i would recommend a spray in liner or something similar. they permanent but offer better protection. not sure on cost though.
like yeah, the coover is your best bet, but have you tried .4 mil plastic? You can get like 500 feet of it at lowes for 20 bucks, and with a little duct tape your wish will be answered. Your bed will be completely covered and water tight. Another thing you could do is line the entire bed with that same plastic, then fill with ice and you will have the coolest truck/cooler on the road. Move over monster gay-rahge, we have a Digs05. When the ice melts, you can use it as a pool too. In true hillbilly fashion, you will have the awesomest car in the trailer park.
