OKay. I just bought a 93 b2600 2wd LE5 cab plus for 1100. I got a tapping coming from the top end. After if warms up it quits and goes quite. Its pretty loud when I start it up but start going down the road then it quits. From what I been reading this happens! So is it a concern or will it be okay for a couple of months when I got time to look deeper into it?

 

are you sure its the top end tapping and not a rod knocking? i just bought a 1987 b2000 with what i thought was a valve tap turned out to be a bent rod.
