Can't speak for trucks, but Mazda cars have a map of the plumbing stuck on the underside of the hood.
After a 1 year layover all your engine seals, shafts included, will have set pretty stiff too, so that doesn't help. Did you check your PCV? (Just yank it and shake to see if it rattles. if so it's OK).
Do you have EGR on your vehicle. If so you should also give that valve a good cleanout, make sure the stem is completely clear of even varnish desposits, and pay special attention to the piping bringing exhaust into it. That plumbing can tar up nearly rock solid and has to be soaked with carb. cleaner and practically reamed out.
I think you should be patient for about 500 miles or so and then re-evaluate the situation.

 

I have already seen improvement from seafoam, and think you are right about waiting and just drive it. I already replaced the pcv and cleaned out egr. I have a problem now with the engine reving high for most part then sometimes it is idles to low. I have timed it, but think it has carb problems. I asked on a different thread if it is easy to change to fuel injection, but now I am thinking about a weber carb. Anyone have a oppinion on that?
