ok my buddy has a an 84 mazda b2200

its got the 4 cyclinder diesel, new clutch and most everthing but the motor is new .. tranny has no problems! and the motor has no leaks and DOES NOT smoke! but it does have a little over 300,000 miles on it... ugg


so ther then a paint job is it worth buying it from him for only **$500.00 before he goes over seas for 2 yrs????



plz anyone and everyone put in ur info plz .. or things to check on the truck anything would be helpful

Umm for 500 cash whats the worst thing that can happen? Cheap paint job & sell it or just part it out as is to get your money back?

If it looks good aside from paint and he has put alot of work into it then i would say go for it if need a truck because these seem to be built to last and cheap to fix.

I agree!! A truck is a truck, and if you can afford to keep it and have a newer, lower mileage DD, then for sure!!
I"m not sure about the Mazda diesels specifically, butmost diesels can run well for 500,000 miles if properly maintained.
$500, even for one that old, sounds like a win-win to me!!
