Mazda BT 50 & Pickup Trucks While Mazda may not be known for their trucks, they have always produced quality reliable trucks for both hauling cargo, or simply crusing. BT 50

Default newbie-intro-maybe pic

This week I acquired a 93 b2200 that has sat for 5 years. All the previous owner could say is a past employee blew it up. We were loading it on trailer to haul to scrapyard. when we inflated tires-brakes tranny and clutch worked....rolled easy. put on trailer....I looked at it and all the recent 40 degree or rainy motorcycle rides to work flashed in front of me and I asked how much. We agreed on a price and hauled it here. I put a battery charger on it over night and lo and behold it turns over. So here is what I know...2.2 liter throttle body FI 5 speed (153153miles)all fluid levels are good EXCEPT oil is a tad low(uncharacteristic of OCD service boss-owns 19 school buses and are meticulously maintained) anyways-oil is tad low and now for the coolant-nothing visible in radiator, coolant tank is full-but green antifreeze substance with an ever so slight oily film. turns over. tomorrow is the first I will have ANY time to give it. Ordered a repair manual on ebay...not here yet. ANything you great and wize Mazda owners would like to tell me???
