HI, I have a 1990 B2600i 4x4 that I just did the head gasket on, and now it starts and idles great but won't rev above 2000 rpm. I put in a new TPS and changed plugs and wires.
Are you sure the ECU (computer) is good? They are known to have 2 leaky capacitors that can etch the circuit board and therefore cause issues with the injector circuits.
Have you had this truck running normal prior to the head gasket repair?
Bad capacitor in the center of picture (turned upside down to show where the leads corroded off of it from the capacitor leaking acid)....

Rubber air intake tube sealed up good? They split open as they get old, at the ends where connected to the aluminum intake tube, and/or the MAF, and any air intake not going through the MAF could pose a problem........got any pics of the engine compartment?
