The windows in my '88 B-2200 are becoming difficult to roll up and down. I want to remove the door panels so I can clean and lube the assembly inside. I know from experience with other cars that most of the plastic retainer clips will break when the panels are removed. I'd like to order 20 or so of them to have on hand.
One source I found online says the original Mazda parts numbers for the clips are GJ6A-68-AB1 or G350-68-AB1. But another source says the GJ6A number is not compatible with the B-2200. Anyone know for sure what the correct part number is for these clips?
Thanks, I've got one of those tools. Do you have a picture of a window crank removal tool that will work on B2200s? Harbor Freight has one for $7 but they say it applies to Ford and GM vehicles.
Josh - I don't have any special tool, never used one. I've used a small pick and hook set, like from Harbor Freight, to pull the horseshoe clip back and out. Sometimes a small screwdriver will work. Push the panel in a little to access. Remember the window crank orientation if you care about stuff like that.
