i am running stock manifolds now but when i put my new engine in im gona run headers.

You should unkink your chunk of heater hose... the red one on the top... that is not so good if it is running coolant through it.

tell me about that transplant. I just bought a '87 b2000 and just happen to have a 350/350 sitting in my garage. What about the motor mounts,tranny crossmember, radiator, can I get away with the stock rearend? what type of stock exhaust manifolds did you use? thanks, Matt

i love seeing the v8's in the mazdas, a question for you though is how do you find the handling of the truck with all the added weight in the front?

i have many secrets that i guess i can tell about, starting at the front and going back
1974 chevy nova radiator and hoses
engine 1979 chevy van regular 4 bolt 350
standard 73 and newer pick up motor mounts and fabed my own pirches for them i will get measurments for that
tranny turbo 350 long tail shaft
drive shaft just happened to have it i think it is out of a nova i will get a dimension and check for you
engine crossmember custom fabed the stock
tranny crossmember custom fabed the stock
shifter just built my own
tranny mount 79 chevy van
rear end right now 75 olds 98 soon to be a narrowed 9" ford drilled to 6 lug
if you need part #'s i can get them or if youy need anything just ask.

Looking to do a 350 swap on my 91 2600I 4X4 but I want to keep the 4X4, any suggestions, the 2600 is peppy especially with the 5 speed, I just want that v-8 power I had in my old Silverado.

700R4 tranny with a 2600 stall convertor
70 Nova posi rear with 3:42 gears
3" body lift kit
31" tires

how much body lift did you have to use to get the dizzy and fan to fit?

i got a 87b2000 i put a 350 chevy & a gm 5 speed i got the stock rear end and it holds up just fine and i got lader bars as trackshen bars and i cut the fier wall and moved the motor back. the motor mounts are in the same spot as the stock motorand it looks good so if you want pics just email me at celli607@aol.com and give me your email [align=right]
