Default Engine coolant container

I have a 84 B2000. What I need to know is where does the engine coolant resivoir go? See, my brother gave me the truck and the container was strapped to the battery[] A pic would be great but not neccessary, or a good description.

Default RE: Engine coolant container

It's possible that that model year did not come with a coolant reservor and someone simply added that one. I had a '79 GLC [:'(] that did not have one, it simply had an overflow line. I have seen aftermarket reservors at some of the auto parts stores that come with mounting brackets or you could get one at a salvage yard if you can find a place to mount it.
