Default changing carb on 90 b2200

was curious as to how hard this will be to change out???? just ordered it should be in a couple days.mech says it needs one. starts up fine but when cold and gas is applied it bogs down and wants to quit.when it gets hot it wont start back until cooled off or with starting fluid.

thanks

I've replaced carb with a Weber, that was straightforward. Make sure to label REALLY GOOD all the vacuum lines or you'll be sorry !!!

It took me about 1 full day. Not very difficult.

I swapped out my son's carb for a weber 32/36 because it was pooring black smoke, now it idles fine but when you give it gas it wants to bog or die. The instructions said to plug the fuel return line , could this be the problem? B2200 AT Electric pump and pressure regulator set at 3.5 psi.
