Default Bravo b2500 4x4 Diesel Turbo Ute - issues

Hi
I have the exhaust manifold off my ute, I was going to replace a stipped lower stud (nearest to firewall). In the process I found the manifold warped, have fixed that hopefully. But, I found a possible issue when looking at the exhaust ports in teh block. 3 of them have a fine sooty dark grey look, one has a black oily look #2 from front to back.
Is that a sign of anythign serious ?
I will try to post a photo, lets see if that works. Hard to see in photos as the issue is inside the port.
Also - does anyone have a install sequence for the manifold and turbo components. Getting them off was so awkward.

bad one ?

good one !
