Default Bad Cylinder Head, no biscuit

Hey everyone.

First off, 1992 B2600i 4x4 Manual, single cab. 279k. New to me.... $500 off FB Marketplace with blown head gasket.

I pulled the motor out, tore it down and took the head the Head Shop and....... its bad. I guess it got cracked and can't be repaired.

So, anyone know a good place to buy used/refurbished head in the Southern Virginia/ North Carolina area? I live in Hampton Roads, VA.

Thanks everyone!!!

I've used this company multiple times.......doesn't come with a camshaft, so re-use your original cam.....

You're welcome!

This is one of their rebuilt cylinder heads that I used on a 2.6 I rebuilt years ago......you may need to use your original rocker arm assembly also......as well as all of your studs for the intake & exhaust manifolds. When I install those studs in a new a new head, I use the red Loctite on the threads going into the head ONLY......this makes sure that the studs stay in the head when removing the intake or exhaust, while doing future work on the engine.

You can see in the pic below their initials........CCH......for Clearwater Cylinder Head.
