Default B2600i clutch switches

There are two clutch switches on my 1990 B2600i one on the floor and the other on the upper part of the clutch arm area - I believe that the one up top is called the clutch pedal position switch - can some please explain what the upper one does and how hard it is to replace and explain how to do it? Also if I'm mistaken about the names of these two switches please correct me - Thanks

I'm guessing one is for the starter inhibitor, the could be for cruise control & or idle up.
