Default 91 B2200 Automatic Transmission Overhaul Kit

Well, I'm new to the forum so i hope i make sense here.

i have a 1991 B2200 Extended cab 4 cylinder 2.2L Carb with an Automatic transmission

My dad gave me the truck about 5 years ago and i recently lost reverse and my first gear so i have to take off in D2 and put it on D to get up to the higher gears. anyways i have a mechanic friend and he said he would rebuild my transmission for free as long as i could give him the overhaul kit so he could do the overhaul. ive looked online and i have had no luck.

anything would be fantastic considering ins my first vehicle and i just want to drive it instead of getting something else right now. i love the "maazda" (what my friends and i called my glorious truck.

i have lots of plans for my truck and this little hiccup is making it rough right now

is there such place where i could find one or get a different automatic transmission that would just bolt in it?

You might try visiting a transmission specialty shop. I'm sure they can get them. If nothing else buy the seal kit from Mazda and a salvage yard for the hard parts once it is torn down.

I'm going to go ahead and bump this, i'm sorry

does anyone know of a differnent transmission that would probably just bolt on to my engine?

like anything would work as long as it worked around the same. that would make me a happy camper, im having no luck with it and i just started and new job and having it working at par would be fantastic.
