Default 90 b2200-trans good for 15miles then quits pulling

It is an automatic transmission. It drives fine for the first 15 miles or so, and then it will stop pulling all together. Once it cools down it seems to be fine though... Trying to figure out if I need to have it rebuilt, or if there is anything I can try first?

Is the transmission fluid routed to a section of the radiator for cooling or did someone install a radiator meant for manual transmissions and bypass yours? Can you add a transmission cooler? I'd take it to a transmission case if you don't know this, maybe it's a cooling issue.

Mine has the fluid routed to the radiator. It doesn't have a separate one for the transmission. Could it be these lines could be clogged or something? I will try adding a transmission cooler and see if that helps. A friend suggested this, but I figured I'd check here first... Thanks!
