Default 2600 tranny in a 2200?
Picking up a 91 B2200 this weekend, the transmission slips... current owner recommends a swap. Comes with a tranny out of a B2600 no idea the year.. New to these trucks. Are the transmissions interchangeable at all? Both are automatics.

No. The mounts to the engine are way different, among others.

And 1987-1988 B2600 is way different than 1989-1993 B2600i
