Default 1998 Mazda B4000 won’t start/turn over

Last week I went to cvs and when I came back out to leave my truck wouldn’t start or even turn over I’ve just replaced my battery and I’m not getting any codes. Can anyone help with my issue? It was the starter thanks you to all who helped

Check your battery voltage, especially when trying to start the vehicle. New batteries can go dead, if the charging system is not working.

Do you mean that the battery/starter would not spin the engine? If so, are the dash warning lights coming on? Failure to crank should be a straightforward diagnosis.

If you mean that the truck cranks the engine but does not start, then state that.

Failure to turn over issues should be addressed with Dr. Phil...

I did try to put my battery on a charger and when I went to start it again it tried to turn over but it was slow and never fully turned over it sounded like the engine was dying idk if you get what i mean but it started off fast then slowly slowed down until it stopped. Does this help?

the engine doesn’t crank at all when turning the key it makes no noise and no lights have came on since it first stopped working. I even went out and bought my own code reader and it read back nothing.

I just had the battery tested and it showed up as good. Do you have any other ideas?
