1984 Mazda truck bed removal
Has anyone ever removed the bed and the cab from the frame so they can remove rust? I am going to start out by removing the bed first but im not sure what size bolts
and how many are holding it to the frame. I also have a a rust issue on the back of the cab where it attaches to the frame as well. I think I can probably find a welder
to fix it without removing the cab. Has anyone else already done some of what I am talking about? Any info is appreciated! Thanks! Roy from NC

You might consider a product called Fluid Film. You may be able to accomplish most of what you want without taking the truck apart. Keep in mind that the Mazda trucks have a boxed frame so painting the inner part effectively is nearly impossible unless you dip the entire frame. However spraying Fluid Film in every opening will get you partially covered from the inside.
