Mazda BT 50 & Pickup Trucks While Mazda may not be known for their trucks, they have always produced quality reliable trucks for both hauling cargo, or simply crusing. BT 50

Default 1986 B2000 Value

Hello
Curious of a general value of a truck that I came across a few years back. I picked it up from a coworker whos grandfather had passed (his grandson didn't want anything to do with it). Anyways it is a really clean 1986 b2000 5 speed truck with 90k original miles. Overall the truck is very clean with no major body damage or any rust at all. The light blue paint is oxidized a bit. It is the single cab long bed model. It runs well and passes smog. I am asking for general value because I am considering letting it go so I can upgrade to something with AC but want to know how much I will have to come out of pocket to do so.

I'll try to post pictures shortly. The truck is currently not for sale.

Thanks.

in my opinion a good running small pickup should fetch 2 and 2.5k but basically is what I’m asking is if there is any extra on top of that for folks that have a special interest in these trucks.

There is special interest and they don’t come up for sale that often anymore. I think in reality they are worth more than what the blue book says, especially if they’re in good condition, haven’t been abused and are well maintained.

I recently bought a 90 B2200 with a decent body and interior. However, the truck was not maintained very well mechanically and I had to put substantial money in to getting everything right. I have almost $3k in parts only. I did all the labor. I’m turning it over to a family member. If I were to sell it, I would not take a penny under $4k
