I have an 1800BP and I'm trying to do some research on what oil I should use. Does anyone have any recommendations?

What is a 1800BP?

 

Is your engine the "Performance" engine......with a cast aluminum oil pan, forged crankshaft, etc? Or the non-performance model with a stamped steel oil pan?

Look up which model vehicle the engine came in and go with what the factory suggested for that model.......for us to tell you what you want to know.....we probably need more info.

 

I've never seen a ute with a 1.8 BP series motor.
