Default Wheels

I am trying to determine if the 16 steel wheels from a 929 will properly fit my 2008 Mazda 3 GT.
I have been told in the Mazda 3 post that the bolt pattern looks right, possibly, but the offset is unknown. The offset of the three is aparently +52.5mm.
Can anyone help.

Thanks,

Tim

Default RE: Wheels

From my research on the subject, Tim, both show a 5x114 mm (4.5") bolt hole circle, so you should be OK there. When I looked into steel and aftermarket alloy wheels for a 929, I either got no offset listed or is was all over the map... nothing specific.
Why not call the Tire Rack and talk to one of their people? Perhaps they have offset info @ hand.

Ahhh!! I may have found something!! I did another search and the 15x6" 929 wheels have a +50mm offset!! I don"t see why the 16"s wouldn"t too.

The earlier cars seem to have had a +45mm. http://www.automotix.net/keystone/19...y64779u10.html

Be sure what you have are 16"s though. Everything I"m finding for the 929 is a 15"x6, or a 15"x 6.5".
15"s will not fit your car.
