Default what is /how to adjust this screw??

can anyone tell me what the adjustment is for this screw and how to check the adjustment, thanks guys.

sorry i forgot to add it is for a 97 mazda 626 I4 at, a/c sedan

That looks like an idle adjustment screw. Is that right?
If so, it should be set to the correct idle speed, usually around 750-850 RPMs.

no its not the idle adjustment screw, i found that one, this screw moves the throttle plate. but i dont know what the adjusment for it is

A screw that opens or allows the throttle plate to close is the idle adjustment screw. The other screw you refer to may be an air compensator or perhap the throttle position sensor. I'm really not sure.

Well, I really thiink that what you have adjusted is an air compensator of some kind.
Can anyone else shed some light on this subject... someone with more hands on w/a '97 626?
