Default Trans Cooler

Hi. New member here.
New to Mazda cars also.

I have a chance to pick up a 2000 626 auto with 4cyl. I went through many of the posts on this forum and found that the tranny does not have cooling lines because Mazda did not think it was necessary.

If there is no cooling lines then how would one install an aftermarket trans cooler?

Other than the tranny issues it seems to be a legit car.
How many miles are the engines usually good for with great PM on the engine?
Who made the engines? Ford or Mazda?

Any other feedback on the car reliability would be great.

Thank You.

Nevermind. It is a 5sp car. Has 155k on it.

Any feedback is still great.
