Default Researching Engine Swaps

Hi guys,

I've got a 1988 323 5dr hatchback. It came with a stock B3 engine and run well over 200k kms.. The engine's been through a lot, poor care and well bits and pieces removed etc makes it seem like an engine swap is a less costlier option than an engine rebuild. And it would let me have more power.

I'm looking for more info on how to go about this, right now am looking for something like the B5ZE or the B5-ME. Since these are EFI engines I'd need the complete wiring harness as well. Any suggestions?

The car itself is stock with only bigger rims and tyres at 185/55/R14. Would the stock suspension hold with maybe a strut bar? Am a total newbie to this with little engine knowledge. Pardon me if I sound like a total noob
