Default replacing the factory stereo 92' 929

I've removed the factory deck and replaced it with a new one. I can get power to the new deck but no sound through the speakers. Does it have something to do with the amp that is in the trunk next to thecdchanger......any suggestions. Thanks.

Yes you will have to bypass the speaker amps. It has been alot of years since i did it but it seems like there is a connector going into the amp and 1 coming out. I think if you disconnect both they plug into each other. Could have been an earlier model 929 though. I will look for a wiring diagram but i am pretty sure you will have to bypass the amp.
