Rear Driver Side Power Door Lock Only Works When Door Is Open
I am trying to diagnose why the power door lock on the rear driver side door only works when the door is open.
When the rear driver side door is closed, neither thethe key chain remote or the mainlock buttoninside thedriver's door willlock/unlock it.
However, when the rear driver side door is open, everything works normally...it will lock/unlock with either the key chain remote or the main lock button.
Locks on other three doors work fine whether they're open or closed.
It's a 4-door, 4-cylinder, 2001 Mazda 626, manual transmission.
I'm stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
