Hi all, I got mazda 323 f 2001. I have a little problem when i pit 3th and push the gas pedal, the 3th comes out. So i opened the gear box and then a little spring fell out i also found a little metal ball stuck on the magnet. Please help, if anybody has a shematic on the gear box or any idea where shoud stay that spring please let me know.

It sounds like a shifter fork detent ball and spring. It's what gives the shifts that ("click-click") feel, and help keeps the car in gear, as you've already found out.

Yep, that's my issue. when i put 3th gear the gearbox cant keep that gear. do u have shematic on the gearbox, cos i cannot find where shoud i put that detent ball and spring. I'll keep working to see if i can find the place. If u have any idea where can i find that paper ,please let me know.
