Default Need help with fuses

Hi,

I just got a 2001 626 and wanted to replace the stereo which had been fitted. So I removed it and tried to disconnect the harness from the stereo but it wouldn't budge. So instead I pulled out the wires from the car which were plugged into the stereo harness.

When I'd done that I got out of the car and found the remote locking didn't work. Neither did the interior light.

Now this morning the speedo, headlights, indicators etc do not work.

I have covered the end of every wire which I removed from the stereo harness in electrical tape until I get a new stereo fitted.

But which fuses do I need to change in order to get everything working again? (If the fault is simply blown fuses) As I never got an owners manual with the car.

Thanks

No help?

I checked every fuse inside the car. I could only see a single 15a which had blown so I changed it.

Does anyone know which engine bay fuse controls things such as the instrument panel and remote locking?

If anyone cares, I fixed it.

Realised the previous owner had put a 3a fuse in a 10a spot so I switched it for a new 10a fuse and that fixed the interior light and remote locking but not the fuel gauge, speedo etc.

So at random I pulled the 'ROOM' fuse and it had blown (was fine yesterday?) so I replaced that and hey presto all fixed.
