I have a 89 323, The story is like this. It was running fine and out of the blue the car started to spit and sputter like it was out of fuel. I put in more fuel and it started up run for a few min and died. It will not start now. The car will crank and crank. I was thinkin fuel pump. So I pulled the pump and tested it on the bench. It runs (I don't know if it is pumping) and good ideas to test in the car?? No fuel pressure if the key is in the ON position, But will fill the fuel filter when I start to crank on it.
Now the no spark.
I have 12 Volts before and after the coil pack. Key at ON position. When I turn over the car it overloads my meter.
I have also checked the Distributer and have 12V on it aswell. Key at ON position

Please HELP
