Hello im new to the site. I have a 2002 Mazda 626 V6 LX and the engines blown. I want to get another engine for it, 626 engine's are hard to find with good mileage on them. What other engines from Mazda would fit, could i find a Mazda 6 or just any Mazda with the same v6 engine. Thanks

 

The engine you have, the KL-G4, was ONLY used in the 626, the KL series engines from other vehicles MIGHT fit but there are many differences between this engine you have and the others, yours has a different ignition system for one so electrical harnesses might not match. If your dead set on getting an engine that is close look at 1995-2002 Mazda Millenia L, 1993-1997 Mazda 626 ES, LX (after 1994) please note this engine has different internals and ignition than yours, 1993-1997 Ford Probe GT, 1993-1997 Mazda MX-6 LS (A spec).
