I just bought this car as a winter beater so that i can park my other car, just wondering what kind of tune up i should do? and also what to look for in these cars? and did i get a good buy on it?

i purchased it off the original owner and it has 140,000kms (87,000 miles) on it, and i paid $800 for it canadian. runs and drives very good, i know it needs tires.

 

Well just start with an oil change, timing belt if it has it and wasnt changed, plugs/wires/cap/rotor, air filter. Just do a good service on it and have it inspected by a mechanic, they can tell you much more on how the suspension is doing and what needs to be replaced soon. The car looks good though, 4 cyl or V6?

 

It's the 2.5 litre v6, and I'm mechanically inclined so I can do all those things other then thetiming belt too much work lol
