Default Mazda 323F Exhaust & Airbag

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could give me some helpful advise. I live in Gwent, Wales and due to the terrible snow we had here its wrecked my exhaust - Im thinking worse case senario that I need to replace the whole system. Can someone give me an indication on how much this would cost for part(s) and fitting? (Please bear in mind Im a girl so Im not wanting to walk into a garage and have some cowboy rip me off)

I also have a prob with my airbag warning light. It flashes 7 times stops and then flashes again 7 times, this only happens now and again. I have searched loads of website to find the meaning of this "flash" and called Mazda dealer too (not really wanting to go to the mazda dealer if its something that I can fix myself). I did see somewhere that it might be the fact that the sensor is loose, if this is the case where is it as I have also downloaded a Mazda manual and cant see it one there.

Thanks, D

Regarding your airbags. It seems you have DTC 7 which means passenger-side airbag module. You can download Mazda 626 GF 97 … workshop manual from here http://www.mazda-auto.ru/docs/626_workshop_manual.pdf (it is in English) where you can see airbag DTC’s as well as troubleshooting tips.
