Hi.

I have a 92 model 626 4cyl.
I had a similar problem when I drove a 02 model Hyundai Accent.
The tranmission is really wierd.
Hard to describe, but when you start the car and drive, firstly the gears don't change well, and 1st gear is very...weak?
Like, you press the accelerator from stationary position, revs alot but it doesn't really like to go foward.

Any ideas what it might be? Mechanics just say replace the whole transmission.
