Mazda 323 Klze swap
Hi guys, I'm new here looking for some guidance. While my 90' Miata sits in my garage with an Ls1 mounted in, waiting for some wheel hubs to allow for the new axles of the new rear end to fit, I need a better daily driver then my Metro. I want a 323 hatch that I'll swap a klze into. I've thoroughly searched through the vast expanses of the internet, but have not yet found any info on how to do this swap. I have some major questions but any information would help:
Will this 'bolt right in', or will I have to fabricate mounts?
How will the wiring be done?
What products are available in terms of engine management?
Can I use the stock 4 cyl's transmission? If not what trans and half shafts can be used?
If I build my own Itb's, how well do the aftermarket engine management systems respond?
What aftermarket support is available?
Does a stock 323 have independent rear suspension?
How high can these things rev and make power with stock everything except itb's and headers? (I've seen vids with these at 10,000+ rpm)
Thanks in advance for all the help. I really don't want to go back to Honda's, especially with the cheapness of these things and how amazing they sound.
